ThothX Meridian participated in the inaugural NATO Space Centre of Excellence Conference, held in Toulouse from 28 to 30 April and bringing together military leaders, policymakers, industry representatives and space experts from across the Alliance.
Under the theme “Space in 2040: Deterrence, Security, Interoperability and Technological Innovation,” discussions addressed the role of space in Multi-Domain Operations, interoperability between Allied systems and the increasing contribution of commercial technologies to military space capabilities.
Represented by Head of Operations João Salmim Ferreira, ThothX Meridian engaged with NATO, national armed forces and European space companies on the role of commercial Space Domain Awareness capabilities in supporting more resilient space operations.
The conference also provided opportunities to explore cooperation involving radar and optical SSA data, command-and-control platforms and future European defence initiatives. These exchanges developed relationships first initiated with the NATO Space COE during ESA Industry Space Days 2024 and deepened the company’s engagement with Allied space stakeholders.
