ThothX Meridian participated in an industry visit to NATO REPMUS 2025 – Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping with Maritime Unmanned Systems, organized by idD Portugal Defence in partnership with the Portuguese Navy.
The visit brought selected Portuguese companies into one of NATO’s major experimentation environments for the integration and testing of unmanned and autonomous maritime systems.
Although REPMUS is primarily focused on the maritime domain, many of the underlying operational challenges — including situational awareness, sensor integration, resilient communications and multi-domain operations — intersect with ThothX Meridian’s work in Space Domain Awareness.
The visit provided a broader perspective on how persistent space monitoring and sensing capabilities can complement increasingly integrated defence operations, while strengthening relationships within the Portuguese and Allied defence innovation communities.
