ThothX Meridian has been selected for the 2025 cohort of NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA), following a competitive process involving more than 2,600 submissions from across the Alliance.
The company is among more than 70 innovators from 20 NATO countries selected for the programme and will participate under the Sensing and Surveillance challenge with its software-based radar solution for monitoring GEO orbits.
Through Earthfence, ThothX provides persistent, high-precision monitoring of resident space objects, operating 24 hours a day and under all weather conditions. The DIANA project will support adaptation of the technology to 32-metre antennas, infrastructure testing and further development of data-processing capabilities across ThothX’s global sensor network.
As part of the programme, ThothX Meridian will receive €100,000 in funding, alongside specialist training and access to DIANA’s network of mentors, test centres and defence end users.
Selection for NATO DIANA provides both financial and technical support for the next stage of Earthfence development while creating a direct pathway to validate its dual-use potential against Allied defence and security requirements.
